Jesus Christ?

The life of Jesus was fabricated to suppress the frustrations of the people of that time, to give them someone to worship. The Emperor Constantine issued an Edict of Milan in 313, declaring Christianity as the preferred religion, and that he was also a believer.

Below are facts that have easily been found searching Google. The story we have been given is a wonderful account of a seemingly wonderful person. Disregard the wonderful image and consider what would actually have happened at the time relating to a person that actually lived.

Mary was only about 16 or 17 when she met an angel called Gabriel one day. No one had ever seen one before. Why didn't she describe this person? Gabriel told her that she had been chosen to be the mother of the Son of God. Imagine the shock of this to such a young virgin. Nowhere is it listed that she was married to Joseph. How would she cope? She had never had the experience of being a mother before. She then goes home to Joseph and tells him what happened. What did he think? Had she been drinking, or sniffing some wild flowers? Surely others must have witnessed this. She and Joseph must also have told their families and close friends. Therefore, word must have got around. The pregnancy develops and many congratulate them. Joseph denied being the father of course, so people became suspicious of who is. Did he tell them? Many must have eventually known the truth, so how was she coping with such a pregnancy?! What medical help did she have? Terrible strain for a young girl to have such a responsibility and worrying if that would affect her child. Apparently Jesus had brothers and sisters, but he must have been the eldest.

The months pass and Mary’s pregnancy develops. Both her and Joseph's family and friends must have known that she was carrying God’s child.  Then the couple have to travel a long way for a Census in December. Wouldn’t she and her family be very worried? Why hold such an event in the coldest time of the year when it would have been so difficult to travel such a distance? Many must have been very worried at how this event would affect her and her special child. They travel on a donkey such a long distance carrying their belongings not knowing how long they would stay for. Seems odd that they planned such a journey with Mary in such a state without accommodation arranged. They arrive in Bethlehem with nowhere to stay except a smelly stinking stable, with cattle. Then, sometime during the night Mary gives birth. Who delivered the baby? We are told no one else was present. She must have been extremely stressed. A new born baby came into the world in a stable infested with dung and germs. We are told that shepherds were in the fields tending their flocks when they received a message that the Messiah had been born in nearby Bethlehem. What would shepherds be doing out in their fields in the middle of the night in bitterly cold December? How did they manage to locate him in the same night that he was born? A special star appeared when he was born, that the Magi saw. What were three Kings doing alone together in the desert? They would have their support staff. They were probably many hundreds of miles away at the time. They realised it was such a special star that they followed it. Would three Kings alone follow a new star for hundreds of miles because they believed it to be special? Stars are only seen at night. So they were travelling at night, and rested in the daytime? Each night, they managed to locate the same star and continued to follow it until it stopped over where he was born. How the hell did they know where he was? A star over a town, and they managed to find the stable in one night? Therefore, it was impossible that they arrived at the same night. One of the Gospels states that the Magi didn’t arrive until January, but he wasn’t there then! Nowhere, in any of the Gospels is his birth date given. The 25 December was the date of a Pagan festival to celebrate the end of the year. The most famous person to have lived, and nowhere can his date of birth be found. Priests tell me it doesn't matter! That's a cracker!

King Herod is told that a Messiah is born and would be a threat to him. How did he know? He then orders the death of all new born babies in the area. Think of the uproar and unrest that would cause! Mary and Joseph then flee to Egypt with the newly born Son of God. How did they do it?!

Sometime later, back in Nazareth, he grows up learning the trade of a carpenter from his father. He must have been told of the fantastic events of his birth. How did he feel knowing that Joseph was not his father? When did he realise he was the Son of God? The two Gospels that tell of his birth contradict each other. Why? The only witnesses at his birth who could verify the events were his parents, so how do the Gospels contradict? Apparently he had brothers and sisters so they must have been born later. They must have known that they had such a special brother. No birth date is given, so how did he have birthdays? Those who knew Mary during her pregnancy knew he was special. He must have been the most famous child superstar in the area. He goes to school and has to list his father as God! The most famous family in the district!  Didn’t Herod learn of him then? The Roman rulers must have known. Very little is known of such a famous person until his early thirties when he began his teachings with the miracles. Why is so little known?

The four Gospels were not first hand accounts of instances, and were not written

by Mathew, Mark, Luke and John, but given those names. Also, they were not written until at least forty or fifty years after his supposed death. Why wait so long to record details of such a famous person? How can you remember accurately what he did all those years ago? Surely you would want to go out and tell the world about your famous friend and the wonderful things he did, and record them accurately for history. He rose from the dead, yet the accounts of his life were not written until so long after! How did they record what he looked like? There are so many many variations of how he looked. Each of the Gospel accounts contradict each other, and do not all cover the same instances. Why?! The instances that occurred involving him have been found to be almost identical to those relating to previous events there. The story we are given is of many wonderful instances involving miracles. How is it possible to feed five thousand people with a few loaves of bread and fish? Even Penn and Teller or David Blaine haven't tried that one! The Bible accounts have been handed down over thousands of years, so there is a very good chance of alterations to enhance the image e.g. the parting of the Red Sea could have been a natural tidal event as happens naturally around the world. The event could easily have been dramatized to create the wonderful image required.

How he died and rose again is pivotal to his immortal image. That is when Christianity is really supposed to have started. He couldn't have been popular with women, as he took three days to rise again........another cracker!! Later, when he was supposed to have ascended to heaven, it must have been a cloudy day for him to rise into one. Had it been a clear day, he would have risen up into the sky and atmosphere, into space that we know has existed since the formation of the galaxies.

The Basilica of the Nativity was apparently built on the site of the stable where he was born. How did they know, approximately 35 years after his birth, the site where he was born?!  It could easily have been developed. Down below is supposed to the exact spot where he was born! That is impossible after 35years!

I  was brought up to believe in him and taught at school. Our lives are built around his story. The churches and very impressive buildings are supposed to be a testimony to his existence. It was supposed to be such a wonderful period of history that occurred at the time of his apparent existence. Consider how things really were at that time. So much civil unrest, so  people were crying out for some kind of saviour. The Romans couldn’t  cope with the unruly situation, so they used psychology to invent a religion to quell the unrest. Priests are highly intelligent people who apparently believe in him so much that they wish to devote their lives to promote his existence. As they grew older and wiser, realising his story didn't make sense, didn’t they have the same suspicions as me? Nowhere is his birth date given, yet priests promote Christmas as his birth  date with Midnight Mass.....celebrating what? They promote it because it gives them a good standard of living.......as religious liars. As it is so easy to search the internet for facts, I have reached the strong opinion that he did not exist. His story does not make sense, unless it was made up. People want to believe because it helps them to feel good for the same reasons that the citizens at that time believed. Religious places are solemn, so they make you feel good, particularly if you have problems. There are often stories about priests abusing little children. What makes them do that? The Pope asks for forgiveness, but is unwilling to root it out. The Church of England and the Roman Catholic church are very wealthy organisations. You NEVER see a poor Vicar. The Vatican is the smallest country in the world. It has its own economy and television service to promote the Pope's image. Where does the money come from to pay the staff of these organisations?  Partly from donations of wealthy people who WANT to believe. It's VERY BIG BUSINESS.

Many people have read this and although they don't like it, they have admitted that there are several good points made. They too have begun to doubt the wonderful account we have been given.

Therefore, it is highly likely that the Son of God did not exist. The  story of his birth should begin "Once upon a time". Do you really believe God exists? It's in the Bible, but that book has been handed down and changed over thousands of years. If you want to create a book that will be popular with millions, there is a real temptation to glorify some parts to enhance the wonderfulness image of the main character. This view has been endorsed by Jeremy Bowen who is the BBC Editor for  the Middle East. God did not create the world, but it has evolved over millions of years.......Amen.

HOW THE INTERNET STARTED, ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE

In ancient Israel , it came to pass that a trader by the name of Abraham Com did take unto himself a healthy young wife by the name of Dorothy(Dot for short).  Dot Com was a comely woman, large of breast, broad of shoulder and long of leg. Indeed, she was often called Amazon Dot Com. And she said unto Abraham, her husband, "Why dost thou travel so far from town to town with thy goods when thou canst trade without ever leaving thy tent?" And Abraham did look at her as though she were several saddle bags short of a camel load, but simply said, "How, dear?" And Dot replied, "I will place drums in all the towns and drums in between to send messages saying what you have for sale, and they will reply telling you who hath the best price. The sale can be made on the drums and delivery made by Uriah's Pony Stable (UPS)." Abraham thought long and decided he would let Dot have her way with the drums.  And the drums rang out and were an immediate success. Abraham sold all the goods he had at the top price, without ever having to move from his tent. To prevent neighbouring countries from overhearing what the drums were saying, Dot devised a system that only she and the drummers knew.  It was known as Must Send Drum Over Sound (MSDOS), and she also developed a language to transmit ideas and pictures - Hebrew to The People (HTTP).

And the young men did take to Dot Com's trading as doth the greedy horsefly take to camel dung. They were called Nomadic Ecclesiastical Rich Dominican Sybarites, or NERDS.  And lo, the land was so feverish with joy at the new riches and the deafening sound of drums that no one noticed that the real riches were going to that enterprising drum dealer, Brother William of Gates, who bought off every drum maker in the land. Indeed he did insist on drums to be made that would work only with Brother Gates' drumheads and drumsticks. And Dot did say, "Oh, Abraham, what we have started is being taken over by others."  And Abraham looked out over the Bay of Ezekiel , or eBay as it came to be known. He said, "We need a name that reflects what we are. "And Dot replied, "Young Ambitious Hebrew Owner Operators." "YAHOO," said Abraham. And because it was Dot's idea, they named it YAHOO Dot Com. Abraham's cousin, Joshua, being the young Gregarious Energetic Educated Kid (GEEK) that he was, soon started using Dot's drums to locate things around the countryside. It soon became  known as God's Own Official Guide to Locating Everything (GOOGLE). That is how it all began.
